Playlist       I came across a new genre of music that I enjoy a lot. One song that I like is "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" by Green Day. My parents usually listen to Nepali folk songs and never listen to English music. I found some new songs on YouTube, including "All I Want to Do is Make Love to You." My parent's generation song. Numerous famous artists are out there, like Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and many others. People mostly listen to songs that are currently popular. One of the latest popular songs is "Cruel Summer" by Taylor Swift. A lot of people love the songs sung by these famous artists. I used to listen to "Love Me Like You Do" by Ellie Goulding, which always gave me a different feeling. The lyrics "Love me like you do, love me like you're going to lose me" are perfect for those falling in love for the first time.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51XzW98wEDg&list=PLGseMPC-LjH7NETm3bR...

Blog 15 A song that moved me move

Image
Sometimes happiness, sometimes sadness. One of my favorite songs from the Bollywood movie is "Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham." Its powerful lyrics feel real and teach the value of family.  When I first heard this song, I was just 16. At that time, I could feel this song because I had to face the absence of my father, who had moved to the United States. During that time, I used to listen to this song while looking at my father's photo and remembering him. This song helped me realize the true meaning of family. Although I didn't receive much love and care from my father, I was very close to my mom. Later, when my father applied for us, we obtained the visa, and our whole family finally reunited. During those long years, I used to miss my dad terribly and would listen to this song while dreaming of the day when our family would be complete again. Now that we are together, it feels like we have a complete family after waiting for 24 years. This song perfectly captures the messag...

Reflection Unit 3   In unit 3, I got into the film industry's historical roots, identifying its complicated filmmaking from the 80s and studying cinema's transformational evolution during that era. This fun journey exposed the term of the movie industry. The Academy Award refers to the Oscar Award, the biggest festival in the industry, and different genres like action movies, comedy, and thriller movie s . The box office is how much money they earn , and there are many other terms for the movie. It was a great movement to talk about the movie. I got to know many things. T he next thing I learned is about movie history, how they used to take video record music, and how they changed slowly. The 1930s was the golden age when the movie was in black and white color, the 1950s wide screen 3D, the 1960s new Hollywood, the 1970s creativity blockbuster, the 1980s formulaic computer graphics 4D 1990s/2000s Oscars, and in 1939, they kept the official name, Oscar.
