Blog 15 A song that moved me move


Sometimes happiness, sometimes sadness. One of my favorite songs from the Bollywood movie is "Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham." Its powerful lyrics feel real and teach the value of family.  When I first heard this song, I was just 16. At that time, I could feel this song because I had to face the absence of my father, who had moved to the United States. During that time, I used to listen to this song while looking at my father's photo and remembering him. This song helped me realize the true meaning of family. Although I didn't receive much love and care from my father, I was very close to my mom. Later, when my father applied for us, we obtained the visa, and our whole family finally reunited. During those long years, I used to miss my dad terribly and would listen to this song while dreaming of the day when our family would be complete again. Now that we are together, it feels like we have a complete family after waiting for 24 years. This song perfectly captures the message that family is the most essential thing in life.
